Who this policy covers

This site, lauramcbride.ca, is operated by Laura McBride, a REALTOR® with Revel Realty Inc., Brokerage. Laura is bound by the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act (REBBA) and the standards of the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), and this site follows Canada’s federal privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What information is collected

Information is only collected when you choose to provide it, through forms on this site:

Contact and inquiry forms. Name, email, phone number (if provided), and your message.
Guide requests. Name and email, used to send the guide you requested.
Consultation and showing requests. Name, contact details, and details about your buying or selling timeline, provided at your discretion.

This site does not use advertising trackers or sell personal information to third parties.

How your information is used

To respond to your inquiry, send a guide you requested, or follow up about buying or selling a home.
To route your request to the right person on the team and keep a record of the conversation.
To send you information you’ve asked for. You will not be added to a marketing list without your consent, and any email communication includes a way to unsubscribe, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

How your information is shared

Your information is not sold. It may be shared with service providers who help operate this site and respond to your inquiry on Laura’s behalf (for example, email delivery and customer relationship management providers) solely for that purpose, and with Revel Realty Inc., Brokerage as Laura’s brokerage of record. Information is disclosed beyond this only if required by law.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you can ask to see the personal information held about you, ask that it be corrected, or withdraw your consent to future contact at any time. To make a request, email laura@lauramcbride.ca.

Cookies

This site may use basic cookies required for the site to function correctly (for example, remembering your place in a form). It does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data retention

Information is kept only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or fulfill the purpose it was collected for, or as required by RECO’s record-keeping requirements for real estate transactions.
