Laura McBride Realtor®
Laura became a Realtor with Sutton Group - Heritage in 2004, shortly after starting a career as a Landscape Designer and becoming a Mom. As most great adventures begin unintentionally, so too did her career in real estate. When her first son was born 15 weeks early, her entire world changed, and after the purchase of her first home in Toronto's Port Union area, she quickly fell in love with all things Real Estate and her inspired business began.

"There are no perfect houses, only "perfectly imperfect" opportunities to find homes that fit your lifestyle and budget. Being inspired where you live is what helps you feel as if your home is perfect!"

Laura takes the stress out of selling, by coordinating everything from start to sold. She will successfully negotiate the sale of your current home and the purchase of your next one. Being involved at the community level, Laura can help you find inspiration in your new neighbourhood or say goodbye in a special way to the one you are leaving behind. Laura understands pricing, current market statistics, and must have design trends that add value to your home. She is proud of the unique mix of services she brings to the table and the incredible relationships with the associated business she works with, from Mortgage Brokers, Stagers, Photographers Inspectors and lawyers.

"I love to see my clients light up when they find the "perfect home" or receive an offer that is higher than they ever thought was possible!"

Laura has extensive horticultural and design knowledge and uses it to give back to her local community. Her passion project, Edible Classroom (follow @edibleclassroom on Instagram or Facebook), is a 4 season indoor growing initiative, to which she donates 2% of her annual real estate commission and time each week, to inspire local school children to develop a life long love of gardening and the basic skills required to grow their own food at home.

"Small, first homes soon grow equity to buy larger ones. A small boulevard tree soon provides shade and value to an entire street. A simple act of kindness can inspire others to do the same."

Laura is committed to work where she lives and in the neighbourhoods that truly inspire her. When she's not helping her clients buy and sell real estate, she can often be found with her hands in a garden, frequenting her favourite local shops, or simply enjoying her home and her family of boys, including their charcoal lab "Sunny".
